What Are Your Reading Goals This Year?

📚 Hey, let’s talk about reading goals!

I stayed up way too late last night adding classic books to my reading list, preparing my “schedule” for the next few months.

War and Peace (finally!)

To the Lighthouse (my first Woolf book!)

The Divine Comedy (what took me so long?!)

I ended up with a list of 74 classics (some more recent than others), not including the books I “have to” read for work.

GET TO read for work, is more like it.

As well as some more recent business books and personal development books to help me grow my business this year, of course.

It’s definitely NOT a race or a competition or anything like that, but my goal this year is to read 200 books (21 more than my personal record), and I just finished my 14th book of the year.

I know, I know, I’m a little behind.

It’s been a crazy few months, to say the least, with big changes in my life and business, up to and including launching my private goal-setting and accountability group, The Competitive Advantage.

Just a few minutes ago, though, I finished reading The Science of Powerful Focus, by Peter Hollins, a book that I didn’t love, but still felt was worth reading.

I’m definitely not saying you have to rush right out and read it - not by a long shot - but I found it was a good refresher on some key concepts related to focus and productivity.

I did end up with more than a page of notes, so it was time well spent.

But here’s a full list of the books I’ve finished so far this year (I’ll put a check mark next to the best ones, in my opinion):

As you can see, it’s pretty heavily weighted to the reading I did at the start of the year!

Not saying the other books were BAD - I don’t finish bad books - but they just weren’t the BEST.

I am, however, reading The Gambler, by Fyodor Dostoyevsky right now and it is…

PHENOMENAL!

I should finish it by the end of the night, bringing my total up to 15 books for year.

What about you? What are YOUR reading goals for the year?

And do you have a plan to achieve them?

Almost as critical as having a plan is having a supportive community behind you, offering you advice, inspiring you, sharing victories and trading tips…

Having that accountability and support is a GAME CHANGER, and I’ve been so incredibly inspired lately by the fantastic conversations and great people meeting each other over at The Competitive Advantage.

We have 24 members so far, coming together to tackle meaningful challenges and become better.

I’d like to invite you to join us, and I’ll give you a fairly compelling reason why you should do so now, rather than later.

The price is going up by 15X.

That’s going to happen on March 1st, and if you join before then you’ll lock in the current price for as long as you’re a member.

I wasn’t going to raise the price by that much, but several people (3 different people) URGED me to charge way more for access to such a valuable community.

One of them was actually annoyed that I was charging so little for it.

He couldn’t even understand why I would do that.

And since he’s built more than $10,000,000 in education programs during his career (he’s 28), I decided to take his advice.

The tl;dr: the price to join this epic community of winners and high achievers is going up by 15X at the end of the month.

I’m not going to oversell it or pressure you or anything, but if you want to lock in that lower price and make SURE that you hit all your goals this year (reading, finances, business, health, family), you may as well join now.

This is basically your chance to achieve all your biggest goals in 2024 for 17 cents a day. Direct, personal access to me and all my courses, monthly video calls and workshops from guest speakers, and more.

Oh, and actually…I almost forgot:

If you bought my online course, Time Mastery, do NOT pay to join The Competitive Advantage. Here’s why.

I actually MOVED Time Mastery over to this new community, and so I’m giving everyone who bought that course access to the community instead.

Just give me a few hours to send out all the email invites.

Okay, that just about does it!

If all this sounds interesting to you, and if you’re SERIOUS about reaching all your goals in 2024 and beyond, joining this community is going to be a tremendous help!
