📚 Welcome back to The Reading Life!
Some people can get away with breaking the laws created by human beings, at least for a little while. But the natural laws of the universe are inviolable.
Gravity doesn’t care what you believe, time never stops moving, and entropy is always working against you. Try to ignore those laws and they will crush you.
And it’s exactly the same with these 100 absolutely unbreakable laws of business success.
There are plenty of wealthy entrepreneurs out there doing exceptionally well, just printing money almost effortlessly, and then there are waves of hapless business owners struggling just to make payroll.
The main difference is whether - and to what extent - they have adapted themselves to the laws laid out in this book.
The 100 Absolutely Unbreakable Laws of Business Success, by Brian Tracy is definitely going to be the Book of the Month at some point inside Creator Launch Academy, so join us here if you want to work with me and the rest of our members to relentlessly apply what we’re reading and learning in all these great books.
Tools of Titans, by Tim Ferriss is this month’s Book of the Month, as you may know!
There’s a lot to dig into tonight, though, so before our coffees get cold, let’s hit the books!
“The best monetization strategy in the world is to simply care about helping your customers succeed, because if you truly care about them succeeding, you will always have a clear path to more profit. That is a simple and universal strategy because what every customer in every industry needs is to succeed faster.”
“People are nicer than they look, but you have to go first.”
Inside my private business mastermind, Creator Launch Academy, we’re tackling one nonfiction book per month and implementing its lessons inside our businesses.
This month’s book is Tools of Titans, by Tim Ferriss, a great book about the tactics, routines, and habits of billionaires, icons, and world-class performers.

After achieving my (somewhat meaningless) goal of reading 1,000 books before I turned 30, I set a new (also meaningless but cool) goal of reading 10,000 books. As of today, I’ve read exactly 1,471 books, including 17 books so far this year, and if you’re interested, here’s my full Reading List.
“Success is not an accident. Success is the definite result of continuous, persistent action in the unrelenting pursuit of your goals in a manner consistent with universal laws.
If only one or two people had practiced these timeless principles and achieved great success as a result, you could dismiss their experiences as luck or coincidence.
But if hundreds of thousands, and even millions, of men and women have started with nothing and built wonderful lives by harmonizing their behavior with these laws, wouldn’t it be a good idea for you to do the same?”
In this book, Brian Tracy breaks down the 100 absolutely unbreakable laws into nine categories: Life, Success, Business, Money, Time Management, Leadership, Selling, Negotiating, and Economics.
He’s written entire books about each of the nine categories separately, but here he goes into some of their histories, applications, and basic premises.
You’ll come away knowing how to use these laws, how to actually follow them to make you more successful and lead you into areas of higher and higher achievement.
Tracy happens to be responsible for a great deal of my own success as well.
I’ve often credited him with introducing me to many of these ideas at a relatively early age, and I am firmly convinced that mentally swimming in these principles for years and years has helped me get to where I am today. And get here a hell of a lot faster than I would have otherwise been able to.
He’s been helping me to succeed at a higher level for more than a decade, and when I first discovered him he had already developed an extremely impressive track record of success and achievement by following his own principles.
Neglecting to put these laws into action will lead you directly to failure and frustration. Actively working against them will sink you even faster.
But by swimming with the current of these universal laws and principles of business success, you’ll place their entire power and force behind you, effortlessly guiding you to success at the head of a rising tide.

“Some of these laws may seem simplistic or self-evident. Some repeat themselves in different ways in different categories. Don’t be fooled into discounting or dismissing them on that account. Great success and mastery in any field always go to those who are ‘brilliant at the basics.’”
“One insight or new idea that you did not have before can be all that it takes to change the direction of your life.”
“The wonderful thing about information and ideas is that they are infinitely divisible.
If you have an idea that can help me to be more effective in some part of my business and you share it with me, we are both enriched.
If I then share this idea with someone else, and that person shares it with someone else again, everyone who receives the new idea is better off.
And knowledge is cumulative. Once it exists, it does not cease to exist. It becomes available to more and more people and it grows exponentially.
Every new piece of knowledge reveals connections and interconnections with other areas of knowledge in a self-reinforcing and accelerating pattern.
Each breakthrough in knowledge creates new opportunities that expand and multiply as that knowledge is exploited.”
“The chess board is the world, the pieces are the phenomena of the universe, the rules of the game are what we call the Laws of Nature. The player on the other side is hidden from us. We know that his play is always fair, just, and patient. But also we know, to our cost, that he never overlooks a mistake, or makes the smallest allowance for ignorance.”
“When I started my business career, I was so far behind, I thought I was first.”
“The most important principle of personal or business success is simply this: You become what you think about most of the time.”
“Imagine that your greatest moments lie ahead, and that everything that has happened to you up to now has merely been preparation for the great things that are yet to come.”
“Your greatest responsibility in life is to create within yourself the mental equivalent of what you want to experience on the outside. The fact is that you cannot achieve a goal on the outside until you have first created it on the inside. It is as though your life is a 360-degree mirror. Wherever you look, there you are.”
“If you want to increase the quality and quantity of your rewards, you must increase the quality and quantity of your contribution.”
“You must always be asking yourself, What is the most valuable use of my time right now? Discipline yourself to work exclusively on the one task that, at any given time, is the answer to this question.”
The Four Levels of Customer Satisfaction:
Meet Expectations
Exceed Expectations
Delight Your Customers
Amaze Your Customers.
“You should give a lot of thought to the future, because that’s where you’re going to be spending the rest of your life.”
“One of the smartest things you can do is to invest 3 percent of your income every month back into yourself on personal or professional development, on becoming better at the most important things you do.
In fact, if you just invested as much in your mind each year as you do in your car, that alone could make you rich.
Invest one hour of your time reading in your field every day. Listen to audio programs in your car. Attend every course that can advance you in your career.
Get personal and professional coaching to help you get the very best out of yourself. Build your intellectual capital, your personal value, and your earning ability continually.
This commitment to regular and continuous personal and professional development will pay off for you in greater measure than you can believe. It will save you months and years of hard work at lower levels of achievement and income. Your return on the investment of your time and money in yourself can be absolutely extraordinary.”
“If your industry is undergoing rapid change, your knowledge and skills are also undergoing rapid obsolescence. You must continually replace old knowledge and skill with new knowledge and skill if you want to keep even, much less get ahead.”
“The underachiever always looks for the reasons for his or her problems in the outer world. The high achiever looks within. The high-achieving person always asks, ‘What is it in me that is holding me back?’ Successful people look into themselves for the answers to their questions and for the solutions to their problems. Unsuccessful people always look outside. Who do you think finds the solutions first?”
